Stargate Maritime EOOD was established in 2004 and is a company belonging to the group of the ship-owner Kawasaki Kisen Kaihsa (“K”-Line). 

Stargate Maritime EOOD is directly connected with Taiyo Nippon Kisen Company (TNKC) – one of the leading companies of “K”-Line, dealing with ship management of “K”-Line-type car carrier and bulker ships.

The activity of Stargate Maritime EOOD is carried out in compliance with the Regulations on the Conditions and Order for Performance of Manning Intermediary Activities and the company has a Certificate No. 750 dated 19 June 2007 issued by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy.

The main activities of the company are consulting and recruitment of seafarers. The activity of the company succeeds of the activity of the “K”-Line and the companies of the group, started in 1997. It began with the hiring of two maritime officers. At the beginning of 2008, the number of the Bulgarian officers, working aboard the ships of “K”-Line is 260 and additionally 49 practitioners and cadets. As part of “K” Line, Stargate Maritime EOOD follows the corporate policy on the long-term planning of human resources.

Stargate Maritime EOOD is the only company on the Bulgarian manning market, which has directly delegated powers by the Company to coordinate the activity related to planning, manning and training maritime officers.

Stargate Maritime EOOD is a leader on the market through its policy of attending and taking care of the officers and their families. Our actions are directed to constantly improving of the working and living conditions aboard the ships, as we are convinced that success is directly predetermined by highly qualified and motivated specialists aboard and in the offices.

The working conditions are being constantly improved, following the market tendencies, the Company’s plans and policy to increase the number of the Bulgarian maritime officers and the quality of their skills.

Stargate Maritime EOOD has the most powerful cadet programme, which started as early as 1998. The Company develops and applies a strategic plan for the recruitment, training and hiring of young specialists, who are offered a prospect for a career aboard the ships of the Company, as well as in the offices in Japan, Germany and Bulgaria.

The personnel of Stargate Maritime EOOD has gained considereble experience in the ship management, human resource management and training of maritime specialists: 

  • Andriyan Evtimov – General Manager. Higher maritime education, 13 years of service at sea. More than 10 years of experience in ship management;
