Manning and consultancy servicing are the main activities of Stargate Maritime EOOD. The company’s employees basically work aboard car carriers and bulkers.

Tracking the market tendencies, working conditions are being improved steadily. The company offers long-term agreements with specified working periods aboard a ship and holiday periods (4+1 aboard a ship and 3-4 month holiday). While working aboard a ship, the marine specialist will receive wage as per approved scale of ship owner/ manager. The seafarers will receive additional vacation wage, in compliance with his rank, for the said three months of holiday period.

After the first working period aboard a ship expires, the seafarers will receive additional payment as seniority allowance according to his rank. The ship owner/ manager shall pay at his or her expense an installment to the pension fund under the management and control of the Japanese Seaman Union for the work period aboard a ship. The above installments are paid directly into personal accounts and might be drawn under the Fund’s regulations upon retiring or permanent suspension of work at sea.

After collecting the documents all applicants must attend an interview survey and the approved candidates shall be appointed to work. Any applicant shall be interviewed regardless of his or her position.

Any newly appointed seafarer shall be trained and introduced to the onboard organization, loading and unloading operations, the ship maintenance and the Safety Management System and its operation.
